I had found the location, the only thing left to do was wait for the right timing. The first night I was there the sky lit up beautifully and I was firing a bunch of shots off, but I didn’t have the right equipment with me and things just weren’t working my way! The next day I quickly ordered the things I required to make an amazing picture in this location. I went back to this location a total of 5 times, on the fourth day I waited out a tornado storm cell and got poured on but was still unsuccessful in getting the right lighting. I went back to my hotel looking like I had just stood in a river upside down with all my clothes on and regrouped myself. On the fifth day the clouds had started to break up, I managed to just barely avoid getting rained on. Once that same cloud had passed over head it lit up beautifully and it was game time!! I had all the equipment I needed, I was in the right spot, it was all down to me! I stood there in amazement, while trying to find balance between enjoying the beauty before me and concentrating on getting it in the camera properly!
